I wanted to extend a special thanks to EVERYONE who has followed along with our Journey to change. This morning Mason as well as individuals who helped us with the legal end of the patition traveled to Tyler Texas and were seen by the Texas Tranportation Commission. We were able to present over 4,500 signature and we couldn't have done that without the huge support we received from the BHW community and countless others!! They ruled for immediate reduction in the speed limit on Ranger Hill to 65, with talks of even lower speed limits in the future. They also granted $3.1 million for added safety measures on the Hill, and raising the center barrier. We will continue to push for more, but this is the start we need to save lives. Nothing will ever give Virginia back to us, but this is a step to making sure another family will never have to endure this kind of loss.
Again, thank you all SOOO much.
