I enjoyed reading that last night. You may be wise beyond your years. I totally agree w/ all the outrage the producers are getting what they want. No publicity is truly bad in that world.

It is bad for the image, not only barrel racers but all cow girls. It's just like the image of cowboys everyone thinks they cuss & drink beer.
We have gone to restaurants before to have a waitress shocked because we don't order beer. They'll say oh I thought you looked like long neck drinkers. My husband has never drink a beer in his life.
Most all the cowboys I know are good Christian people not drunk rough uneducated fools.
They still open doors for women & try not to cuss in front of them. It really makes my husband mad when men use foul language in front of me. He cusses some but in front of women.
The image the movies and books have given people of cowboys really irritates me

I've wondered why the ACTORS are taking the hit for this. They very well may not be like this at all. It's a tv show not life. Yes, I know it's supposed to be life but we know it isn't. If offered the money I wonder how many others would have jumped at this job.
That said, I still DO NOT approve of the show. Someone needs to do one named Rodeo Life and show the real side.

Maybe I don't get out enough, but I didn't recognize a single one of those 'girls' on the preview. I can't believe you can lead that kind of lifestyle and have that much screw off time and still be a winner.
