If you (or someone you know) has a Kindle paperwhite, what are the likes and dislikes?

I just want to read books, I dont want a tablet that will surf the internet, I'm on the computer enough as it is and my iphone can keep me connected when I'm not on my work or home pc.

Thanks.

I would like to hear too.  I had an older Kindle what had the key pad on it and loved it.  I don't want a Fire or anything with the color screen I like the original screens.  BUT I would like to have the Text to Speech option.  Is that on the Kindle Paperwhite???

I have a Kindle 2. It will light up. It has the keypad. It has the text to speech option. You can download books from anywhere with whispersync. I also have a kindle fire. I like both for different reasons. On bright days I like the Kindle 2. I will also plug my Kindle 2 into my car radio and let it read to me. The voice is a bit mechanical but it's better than paying $30 for the same book just to have it in a human voice. I'd rather pay like 5 and have it read to me on there. I read on my Fire at night or when I want to switch back and forth from reading to media.

I got Wes one for Christmas last year. He likes it. I like it because you can see the screen in sunlight, but can still read in the dark. I have a Nook tablet and it sucks in sunlight. I don't know how to put books on the kindle that are not formatted for kindle, but I think it's possible.
