The feel to me is the bend/flex.

The one on the metal shank seems like it doesn't make the as "bendy", and the one on a draw string makes them more.  That is my experience.  I have ran in the one that is on the metal shank, also to me it seems like there is a little more whoa, maybe not.

Wouldn't the Myllymaki give you rate and the Sue Smith wouldn't? It would only give you lift because of the constant pressure that is applied. You can change the amount of pressure with the Myllymaki because of the shank. The Myllymaki's ratio is 1:2 and then 2:1. So when it slides up it will reach a point where there is less rate and more lift but you'll first get rate. Is that right?

 I would think so. To me the metal shank one has more rate (1st pic).
