| My mare has higher set hocks then I like. Is there any joint, tendon and hoof supplements that are proven anyone can recommend me that wont cost and arm and a leg? I would like pellets if possibly, my horses always seem to eat those better. I just wanna try to keep her as juiced up and limber as possible in her hocks/joints and hoof supplement is to just keep her feet healthy. Tendon supplement would be pretty much what the joint supplement is for. Just to keep her strong and going.
I don't have any problems yet, but I have heard stories on people getting hock injections if problems do occur. Some say they have worked and the horse has gone on racing others say they don't. I guess it just depends on what you type of injection you get? (I would rather try and avoid the injections as long as possible and never get them if I don't have to). |

Location: Warsaw, VA | My geld has a bone spur on each hock - I give him Animal Element Detox which has msm and 120 mg of HA a day.. It is a powder though.
I also give him AE's Product X which is a natural pain reliever and anti- inflammatory, enhances bone, tendon, and ligament strength along with other benefits. He stays running sound and we do get hock injections once a year.. |

Location: Washington | Tight Joints Plus! It is a powder but my horses gobble it right up without a fuss. Well it spells really good so I don't know why one wouldn't gobble it up lol! |

Location: Sunny So Cal | I feed my horses VitaBran Joint which is a pellet feed and then I use THE JointPlus as my supplement. I like how the VitaBran helps my horse to feel but I really noticed a difference when I fed THE JointPlus. The difference was noticeable within 3 days. Even my trainer commented and he never says anything. |

I really don't understand why the AE "detox" has the HA in it. . . Shouldn't it be in the performance or the Product X?! |

AE's Performance Detox has several benefits and the added msm and HA for joint support at approx $1 a day is like a bonus..lol You are not having to buy this and that for each issue(coat, feet, hormones, joints etc) its in one bag, saves time, user friendly and cost efficient, no mixing and matching.....
The X is a natural performance enhancer - improves strength, delays muscle fatigue, enhances recovery after intense training etc etc...

Location: On a paint horse... | I second Tight Joints Plus. My vet recommended a product, I asked her about TJP and we printed out a list of ingredients and she gave it her blessing. Have had a couple on for about 3 months and so far so good! |
