I need some advise on feeding a 3yr old thoroughbred fresh off the track. I will be getting him next week and would like to hear your thoughts on what to feed him.

I would feed high quality alfalfa and give him a little time to come off of all the other stuff he is probably on. He is going to be looking a little worse for a while but they all do that, then they come back.
