| It depends on her strengths/weaknesses and what exactly you are wanting. Small, big, hot, calm, etc.. |

Location: Washington | She is an overall nice mare, calm, doesn't get fussy, very athletic, is a bit quirky about certain things but I assume she got those from the track. I would like to keep the calm because I don't get along with hot heads very well. And height I am not to worried i'm not to worried about. |

Location: Kansas and loving it | Still not a lot of info as to what you are wanting to improve on. I think Blue Valentines are underrated, many think that they don't have the body type gor barrels. I would cross her with a Blue Valentines stud or a stud with some Hancock or Two Eyed Jack. |

Location: Michigan | I have seen a lot of very successful barrel horses that are Colonel Freckles or Peppy San Badger bred! |

| I second the peppy San badger, something proven in the reining pen would be nice, |

| If you want to pick it up a notch for a faster barrel horse ... either one of these would be my choice ... FIGHTER ON FIRE or RAGAZZO ... both are in the BEEHIVE AUCTION and should be in other stallion auctions ... at very good prices for the quality, speed, win records and money earned.
FIGHTER ON FIRE

RAGAZZO

If you breed this mare to a foundation bloodline you can easily take away any speed she may have and end up with a weight lifter type framed colt that will make a good ranch horse ... but not have the speed or agility for arena events.

| My friend has a foundation bred stud thats double bred Poco Tivio, and then also goes back to Doc Bar and Top Deck. He is the most quite laid back kind horse I think I have ever been around period you would never know he is a stud. I have heard that Poco Tivio was known for passing on that kind of disposition. He has also got tons of try, is quick and has a huge stride. I also really like a combination of cutting and running blood.

| I would go with a peptoboonsmal or a high brow cat, I have seen a few in the barrel pen, quick, catty, easy to train, and the ones I have seen haven't been hot
Or a Sunfrost stud
