Anyone else notice if you eat fast food more often than normal in a week you feel sluggish or just yucky? I literally get moody and my face breaks out and I just feel tired and terrible. My fiancé says my body is high maintenance and needs the good stuff lol! Like Premium fuel instead of regular ;) just call me Benz. Just curious if anyone else got such extreme changes?
Also, I'm talking like 4 times a week or so, give or take, not everyday...

That is why I don't eat it, I have not had fast food in 4 years.   I take something healthy if I know I won't have a good choice where I am going.

Yes! I notice a difference shortly after I eat it....puts me into a coma almost. Just get sluggish, tired and cranky because I just want to go sleep!

I try to keep the fast food to a minimum.

If we go out or to fast food (besides Taco Bell) I get a grilled chicken sandwich or salad, or Mahi or a good steak on occasion. The bowl of fresh veggies is a good idea for a restaurant! I love fresh steamed veggies :)
theres just no redeeming fast food as far as how it makes me feel lol.

Check your nutritional values on those chicken sandwiches.

Often times they are as high or higher in calories and fat than a burger.

Fast food dont bother me, I'm always on the move and  keeping busy and we eat it quite often, I dont care for it much so I dont eat a whole lot of it at one sitting when we do eat out.

I have/do! I get them plain and they're definitely much better. I watch pretty closely. Lately I've been with fiancé, who likes T bell, that's where the problems start! Lol the chicken or salads don't really bother me. Which is nice in a pinch on the road.

I feel gross as well.  I've tried to opt for the salads...helps a little.  I opt for Subway as much as possible.

I agree, can't remember the last time I had fast food. The only place I will eat is Qdoba, and I get grilled chicken salad with guacamole. There is nothing real about fast food.

i am terrified of being fed red slime for meat so I stay away from corporate fast food. I do like a burger from a good mom and pop place though. My favorite place to eat is a cuban place because of the grilled veggies

Oh yes, I love me some Subway!

You ever checked out the ingredient list for subway.

There is only about 5 things on that menu that are not full of preservatives and other chemicals.

It's a better choice than McDonalds or some such but it's not super healthy

http://m.nydailynews.com/1.1340434#bmb=1 It's pretty much like saying you would opt for a bullet in the arm instead of the chest. Lol
If you look at the stats for some sandwiches, it's as bad as eating a Big Mac.

Since I got HORRIBLE food poison from Subway, I haven't eaten there in almost 2 years and don't plan to EVER again. But I don't hardly EVER eat any sort of fast food. It is NASTY and pricey, I'd rather eat at a mom and pop place too - not saying that's healthy - just tastes better to me.

I'm sorry to hear that you (and friends) got sick!  However, I know someone who has gotten sick from higher end restaurants and I've gotten food oisin from eating something my mom cooked, (bad meat in the grocery store apparently, although it didn't look/smell bad).  So that's a shame but I still prefer a toasted turkey sandwich to a quarter pounder or greasy chalupa.  I'll take Chick-Fil-A over just about any of them though!  They have a grilled nugget meal that's so good!

I absolutely love fast food. I know it's horrible for you, but we are literally on the run so much that if I buy groceries, they go bad in the fridge. We eat out a LOT. It's not ideal, and I could probbaly fix meals ahead, but we are gone for 16-18 hours a day, so heating anything up/keeping things fresh is hard.

On the flip side, I cannot tell a difference in my energy levels if I eat healthy vs. fast food.

before I moved when I was living with my parents my mother and I were the ultimate lazy butts! we'd eat out at least 4 meals a week.

Since I've moved to Maryland (Aug 2012) I've only eaten fast food a handful of times and let me tell you my body regrets it every time I eat it! I'm sluggish, sick feeling, and my skin will break out basically immediately.

I don't see how  you can eat it 4x a week! I always take a healthy microwave meal to lunch with me daily, and I cook healthy as well....I've noticed a huge change once I started eating healthy....I feel soo much better

I can tell a huge difference in my energy levels. I try to eat healthy and drink lots of water throughout the day, but some weeks I just don't make it happen, those weeks tell on me big time.

A few years ago I started eating fast food at least 4 times a week.  I got an extremely large ass from it.  Started eating better and exercising.   30 pounds later I feel like a new woman.

I refuse to eat fast food anymore  , the energy drop and sluggishness are so severe after eating it that it is not worth it to me.

I was never a super healthy eater but after changing my diet to healthier choices and cutting out the fast food and sugars, I no longer feel like napping halfway through the day .

HAHAHA!  YES.  Any weight I gain goes straight to the booty.  But I don't like it because it makes me moody and sluggish.  It ain't pretty.
