        Location: Southwest Minnesota | Yes, Pixie is a Basenji. I love her dearly but there are days I could strangle her. Basenjis are not a dog breed for everyone. She is a lot like a cat in a dog's body. She may do what you ask but only on her terms. |

A friend of mine has one. It's the strangest dog I've been around. Everything has to be her idea, she doesn't bark(more like a cat growl type noise), and she has energy for days! Great pic!! |
