I have a chance to haul and stay for about a month in Feb. I would be staying in Englewood. I was just wondering if there are any barrel races around there? Thank you for your help :)
yes on Feb 1st there is a 3 District NBHA show at End of the Trail Arena, Dist 6, 8 and 9 with $1,000 added, click on the link above and there will be some races there or at www.floridabarrelhorses.com

You would only be about 45 minutes from me!! :) That being said, you're about 45 minutes towards the coast so to my knowledge Englewood is more of a beach-town (we go to Englewood Beach pretty often to watch the sunsets). Depending on how far you're willing to go there's almost always something going on :) Here's a link to a pretty good site for events but they don't always have the NBHAs. Hope you have a good time!
