I've been shopping for a original Dale Martin Ironhorse saddle and there are various gullet widths listed in the ads. But it's almost impossible to get an accurate gullet width on a finished saddle and camera angle can make a big difference.

These were the original Dale Martin barrel saddles, before Martin was bought by Equibrand and became Martin Saddlery. Does anyone know if he really made saddles with different gullet widths, or even bar flare, back then? Would different Ironhorse saddles fit my horse differently? Or was there a standard Ironhorse tree?

I have owned two Martin Iron Horse Saddles.  They both had the same tree/gullet width.  I believe they were around a 6 3/4 or 7 not exactly sure but I do believe that they only used on tree back then.
