I need an idea of something cool but not terribly expensive to get my neighbors for Christmas.
They are an older retired couple, and pretty much city people, the husband grew up doing farm and ranch work so he knows what end a horse eats from, and after living the city life moved back out to the country.
Anyway they are really nice people and take care of things anytime we go out of town for a weekend. I've offered to pay them but they never accept. So I wanted to get them something good for Christmas. But I am stumped on ideas.

I like to make baskets of homemade goodies and fun stuff. Or you could do a "theme" one, one time I did a movie night with different popcorn, coke in the bottles, a gift card for the local movie rental place. Stuff like that.

Something custom made? there are a lot of cool things out there... maybe something they can hang or put in their house? A gift card to a nice restaurant is always nice and run or to the movies??

I gave my "elder" neighbors those double lined glasses to have cool beverages in the summer. A gift subscription that you paid for a year of newspapers...(if they read news papers) or Readers Digest.
