Location: Nebraska | Question for all the barrel racers out there. Have you been approached by a lady named Barbara Masterson on facebook who says she is scouting for a movie and needs a barrel racer with a big hot horse to come running in full speed and jump over a person (yes living not a dummy) and also has a test guy by the name of Fred Verga. I really think something isn't quite right. To run the test is 300 a min to see if you and your horse will work for the stunt. She has also told me she injured her knee either before she made it to the NFR or while at the NFR (not sure) but the end result was it ended her barrel racing career. When I tried to google her I could find nothing out about her. I have asked her about credentials and she got upset saying scouts weren't very well known..... I am not the only one she has approached.... Thanks for your input in advanced!!!  |

She just keeps repeating she needs a big barrel horse and I keep telling her we only own 1 big 16 plus hand gelding who is a ranch/heading horse and has never seen the barrel pattern! She is persistant to the point if I show I am on FB she contacting me asap trying to get me to say yes |

Location: Nebraska | And I have told her all my barrel horses are not hot they walk in and out since I have young kids who also run and I can't afford to have any hot ones since all my horses will be handed down to my kids... she doesn't seem to listen!  |

Location: Texas | It is a scam! A guy did this same thing to me a few years ago, SAME EXACT story. He is a weirdo stalker and probably just changed his name and onlIne gender because so many people were on to him. There was even a post on here a year or so ago to watch out for him. |

| So this person contacted me a few days ago and I humoresques them what ever. But the name was Elisa brown exact same story wanted to usey horse etc, well sends me a picture they took at the "NFR" well it's a reining horse so that's when I knew it was a scam. I quit replying all together and they won't leave me alone. Now they messaged me saying something a long the Lines about me not responding that they can't help with maturity. Uff this person is a but job hello blocked!!!! |

| I've never had him ( or her) contact me thank God! but here's the question, what is he gaining from this scam? Since he supposedly pays you to lease your horse. I wonder if they are after peoples horses and what they do after they get them... scary thought of the night.. |
