I thought I would ask this question here as I know that barrel racers know a lot about supplements for their horses. I have begun my training for a half marathon that is in April and I am looking for some good human supplements to help me along the way. The reason for this is that I know a few people that have sustained joint issues from training hard for half/full marathons.
Is just a regular multivitamin sufficient? Currently I take the human formula of Platinum Performance and I am thinking about taking the Ortho Chon but I was curious if anyone thought something else might be better. I just want to stay as healthy and strong as I can and ward off any joint issues.

I have not trained for one but my brother does triathlons. He takes THE Muscle Mass bars and THE JointPlus. He says the "bars" give him energy and he feels stronger. THE JointPlus really work well for his joints. I have tried the bars and they taste pretty well, haven't used them to work out with cause I don't work out. But I definitely need to. haha I hope this helped! Good luck! http://www.thesportslaboratory.com/ here is the website my brother goes too. I guess it is part of the company Total Health Enhancement.
