Please fill my head with happy thoughts about Lagrange boots!  I've been wanting a pair of black caiman boots.  It was between Lucchese and Lagrange and since I couldn't find the Lucchese in my size in stock I went with Lagrange.  Does anyone wear these and please tell me they're good boots!

It's all I wear. I wear mine everyday and love them. Ride a ton, do chores, walk all over show grounds in them. Just ordered a new pair, as well.

Bless your heart you made my day!!!  They have a few more pair that are cute as a button.  I'll order more if I like the ones I'm getting.

Do you remember Katymay being on the boards?  She was a Lagrange fanatic.  I'll hunt her down if I don't like mine.

Ha ha yes! I think that is how I first heard of them WAY back when. I needed boots and I didn't want to spend a lot so hopefully they work well.

Maybe my pair was just a fluke, but they were completely falling apart after 2-3 months. I didn't even find a great deal, or buy on sale, I paid full price, and was steaming mad to say the least. Will never buy another pair.

Oh nuts I've had good and bad reports now.  All I wear are boots but I also have probably 7 pair that I wear and switch around but when I wear them I am hard on them.  I guess I'll see what they're like when they get here.

My biggest owner is the one who got me started on them. She probably has at least 80 pair of boots and I'd venture to say that 70 of them are Lagrange.

Did you get a seperate email saying you can text or email them your CC security code ?

There was no option to enter it when I purchased and then I got an email requesting it via text or email?  Never seen this before.

Edited to add , I just checked my email and they sent me my tracking # ..... I guess I will ignore that security code email.

The only boots that I ride in.   I've only had one pair that didn't hold up and they where leather soles.   Lagrange gladly gave me my money back.   Hope to buy another pair soon.   love them!

Mine says scheduled to deliver today but for some reason I think they will come Monday because on USPS it says In Transit as of the 5th....unless the site didn't update. A little irritated that I have to sign for them though without knowing when they will get here. Huge pain in the rear end with 5 dogs to have to open the door

I didn't realize someone had to sign for them.  I'll have to make sure someone is home on Monday.  I should have had them sent to the shop.  I can't believe it takes less time to get from NC to CA then to get half way across the country NC to SD.  Oh the joys of living in the middle of no where.

I was just thinking that! I figured if mine said today you would have had yours by now.
Yes when I check USPS it isn't current as of 2 days ago but it is the holidays , says Delivery the 7th still so we shall see. I hope so! There is a little *Signature Confirmation * tag on my USPS Tracking page. It must be their policy for all shipments because these boots were dirt cheap , I really wouldn't cry if they got taken off my doorstep . If I had paid full price for them , I'd need the kleenex if that happened.

I guess we'll have to post pictures on Monday of our new boots......I have 3 dogs to fight at the door.  Only 1 is a killer, the other 2 are deathly afraid they'll have to go out in the -20 weather :213: so when the door opens they run the other way.

Ha . None of mine are mean at all but my big red guy is my shadow and very protective of me in the sense that he has to be next to me at all times and if I shut that door and he can't see me he sounds like he is trying to rip the door off the hinges . If Mr.Mailman were ok with it , it would be much easier to just let him come outside with me but the looney toon neighbor ruined that for us after her dog broke her screen and bit him on his first day .

Hope yours come out better. I am not impressed at all .
Ill post a pic .  They failed to stain a part of the left boot so the boots don't even match.
They are comfortable tho so I'll make them beat up wearin in the dirt boots even though I wanted them as a nice boot.

Oh no!   I would call Babs and tell her about them.  Maybe they have another pair they could send you.  I have to say I totally love mine.  I'll grab a picture as soon as I can, just getting supper for hungry family now.  They sure feel comfortable the little bit I had them on.  If its not too sloppy tomorrow I'll wear them to work.

I have a pair of the caimen leather soles.  I had to get them resoled after a year, but I wore them everyday to ride.  Now, I don't wear them as much, but that's because my gelding needs spurs and they don't have enough of a ledge to rest the spurs on.
