SX Doc Slider. He's my dream horse but I'll have to share him with LRQHS. Someone just posted yesterday that he's 21 going on 22 now and retired. I bet he could still kick ass though. |

Where's Mulberry Canyon Moon?
They have a facebook for her where they have been posting tons of pics of her babies. I am not sure who has her but she'd listed as being in Bismarck, Missouri.
ETA: Owners are Matt and Bendi Dunn and it looks like they pull embryos at Royal Vista Southwest, same place as Dolly.

I think he's just living the life an older horse gets to live :) he's a 1996 who ran for a looong time. I'm sure they've all got something when they live the life those top pro horses live.
To the other poster who asked about Mitey Man, I am not sure I see him run every once in a while. I know he had surgery on his fetlock? maybe? She posted about it on FB a year or two ago. I don't think he runs much at all anymore. |

I saw him get sold at a Going Big time auction... I believe he was the high seller and went for about $30,000... I think Tanya had some injury that she couldn't ride again or at least for a long time so they were selling him... I haven't heard anything since then....that is all I know. :( he is a beautiful horse. |

| TyE - 2013-12-06 8:09 AM I found a 2006 NFR 10 round dvd for $2 bucks the other day!
I forgot what a smokin' NFR Kelly Maben had that year. What horse was she riding? Mystic Angela - who was also run by Lisa Ogden when she made the Finals (1998 I think?)
Also Lindsay Sears was on a dark brown horse and a palomino? Any ideas on those 2? DJ Nick Bar, Hanky Flit Panky (Martha also ran 1 or 2 rounds to the right that year)
Denise Adams on Jud Little horses but a nice sorrel? any idea? Frosty Feelins

oh gosh, you're right. Dashing Dillion is the one she lost. Denium, Dillion they're easily confused.
Dillion didn't colic though. He had EPM and I believe she said she got him about 80% better, he was out in the pasture and had an accident and had to put him down. I am 99% sure it was the EPM that led to the accident. I bought a mare from Kassie and was talking to her about EPM because my mare was diagnosed with it, and she told me about how he died. |

You're right. She had a bad run with both Denim and Dillion. Denim was the one that kept colicing and I pretty sure Jay Bickers at BVEH did the surgery on him. I think the multiple colics is why he was retired.

And Tonya wright (think last name is correct) she went to the NFR a few times on moe.
There was a a gal that was qualified from Mississippi. I can't think of her name but it seemed like her horses were siblings and it was early 2000s and they were sorrel. I know one went to the left. Anyone know who I am talking about?

Mesa is still running. Mostly getting something trained right now, and yes her young ones are fast. Junior and sanjo are retired. They said they just couldn't keep Jr sound enough to keep up the 1D and wanted him to be happy in the pasture. Mesa has also been trying her hand at roping. |

Does anyone know anything about Paula Seay's horse Krimps Elmer? She was from Florida. I was just thinking about her and her horse the other day.
Elmer is semi-retired. Paula's daughter, Harley rode him in the youth World and was reserve champion a few years back. He is living the good life at their house and doesn't has to work for a living anymore. He can still put us Florida girls in the 3D when he decides to lay one down. Paula doesn't compete on hiim anymore and Harley is not really strong enough to ride him. She is only ten. If I had the money, I would CLONE that horse. He is my all time favorite bar none. |

SX Doc Slider. He's my dream horse but I'll have to share him with LRQHS. Someone just posted yesterday that he's 21 going on 22 now and retired. I bet he could still kick ass though.
I have wondered about this horse for a couple of years! I LOVED watching him at the NFR--he inspired me to get back into barrel racing, even though it took me a few years even after that to actually do it. But he was such an amazing horse to watch. |

Location: Florida | Came across this post on Elmer. I was the breeder of Elmer and I still have his half brother Crusin in Overdrive they both were out of the Mare Go my Go Cruisin in Overdrive is by Lous Kinipper He produced some nice barrel horses. I have a 2 yr old colt by Cruisin in Overdrive out of an Krimps Elmer mare that I will be standing at stud (in a couple of years). Glad to see Elmer had fans. I am not a big name or big breeder, but it was nice to have one of mine do as well as he did.

I liked that horse. Codi Baucom on Naughty________, had nice, nice runs in the 06 NFR I just watched. Loved that team. I 'think' she got married a year or so after and started a family. Besides Sherry Cervi and her career with react horse, one of my favs is slim and brandy. They held the area a record at t&m for awhile.
Slim, I Am Not Te, is retired and happy at home with Brandie. He was run for awhile by Shae, quilified her for the Jr.High Finals and Brandie said he didn't need to go anymore, He doesn't owe us anything. We owe him. |

What about Kappy Allen's Risky Chris (I think)? I know he would be pretty dang old now.
Risky Chris is living large at home with Kappy. Photo (if I actually did it right) from last month--he looks phenomenal!

| What about Tammy Keys Round Pen? Is Charmayne's Cruiser still alive? I have a few old old Barrel horse news laying around sometimes I dig out and look through I often wonder where some of those "cover models" are now. |

View this Jet - deceased.
I don't have very many favorites but the way he ran just stole my heart.i bawled like he was my own when he died.I even had a blanket with his name on it made and I sent it to his people but I never heard from them.He truly broke my heart when he passed away. |

What about the horse PJ Burger made the NFR on, but didn't get to take him?
Saw he was entered in some American Qualifiers so Fancy Man Perks is still being ran. |
