Location: oklahoma | He had a horse named Law Dog that looked similar. Brown with a snip and star. I rewound last nights go but joe beaver just said how great his horse was, I didn't hear him mention a name. |

| I think it was a 2001 brown gelding sired by Pine Time (apha) and out of Tender Moments, raised in S DAk and bought by Hoddy Braskamp as a weanling, Hoddy roped on him for a number of years and then sold him to a roper in Idaho who sold him to Trevor this year. |

"Got bragging rights this morning...Trevor Braizelle(sp) rode a horse last night at the lst round National finals in team roping---- I raised out of Pine Time and Tender Moments in 2001. He was a breeding stock paint gelding named Pine Time Boogie. I actually helped start this gelding when Hoddy Braskamp owned him. He was such a nice two year old, fast learner. Hoddy owned him until age ten, then he sold him to a team roper in Idaho for an amazing amount of money. Last summer, tevor bought him from the Idaho owner. Now he has a starring role in the National finals...such a nice horse!! Watch for him this week...dark brown gelding. Love to see him win it!!!" |

You're right. The calf horse was the younger one that he's been bringing along for the last two years.

| I know the kid that sold him to Trevor. If that wasn't the same horse then they look remarkably similar (same color and facial markings). |

| His barn name was Boogie when Hoddy had him. Gloria didn't see the roping so she is just going by what she was told and we are trying to make sure it was this horse, he is a brown gelding with star and large snip, sock on left rear. |

Location: Idaho | My husband and I were just talking about that horse. In the first round they said something about him just jumping on this horse. Never rodeoing on him before. We know that Trevor bought a horse from Tyler Smith in Lewiston this year. We didn't know the horse so we weren't sure if it was that horse or not. We kinda joked when they said he hadn't used him before like, well maybe that's the horse he bought from Tyler! ;) Then when I read this post and people started mentioning a horse they sold to someone in Idaho, I thought well maybe it was! :) don't know for sur but would be cool of it was! |

| I have been sent pix of Tyler Smiths horse and the breeder of boogie says that is the horse she raised and we are positive it is Trevor's heading horse.

He thought he was a 12 yr old (so he sure could be the 13 yr old you are thinking). He said he bought him without seeing his papers. The papers finally caught up with him, and yes, he is a paint. He didn't say who he came from, but it sounded like he hasn't had him for long. He loves how he is working and is pretty excited about him. |

| Thanks everyone for your half etc. we are positive now the horse is Pine Time Boogie. Hoddy Braskamp who owned him from weaning until he was 7 is driving over from Tucson to watch the horse run and he hopes to talk to Trevor. Hoddy has 2 other geldings that are 5 yr olds bred the same way and been roped on etc. that he wants to sell, anyone with any good ideas of what sites to use please let me know! |
