Location: Nor'Dakoda | Who do you root for? I know home state people always hold a special place, but who do you really love watching? I am loving Wade Sundell again this year.. (and he is kinda foxy ) and Derrick Begay. Casey Coletti is also up there. So many amazing, hard working athletes to look up to! |

Pretty much.
My husband is ok with it though. He feels pretty confident that Cody Ohl doesn't even know I exist. |

Location: Washington. (The DRY side.) | Shane Proctor (He is from here.) His dads saddle horse is by my stud. They bought him from us as a yearling and he is now almost 8yo. I must say that 2 of my favorites to watch are Pearl and Roanie!!!!!! (On the off chance anyone doesn't know who they are, they are the mares ridden by Cody Ohl and Tuf Cooper. They are owned by Sid Miller and C.R.Bradley respectively. Pearl is a multiple AQHA World Champion in amateur tie down roping and Roanie is a multiple AQHA World Champion in SR tie down roping. |

 Am I really the Weirdo?

Location: Kansas | I grew up going to the same rodeos as Tyson Durfey (our dads both competed at the time, and he was starting to breakaway rope when he was about 10) and I've worked with him & Shea (his wife) ordering the URA buckles the last couple years so I have to root for him. Super super nice guy and just from the phone conversations I've had, Shea seems really neat too. Hopefully his luck turns around in round 3 - he has not drawn good calves so far.
Also, Wade Sundell's dad used to ride in the same association as my dad. I remember when Wade was just starting out as a bull rider. One of his cousins (I believe I have the family connection right) still rides in the URA and actually traveled with a good buddy of mine for a while this summer.
And Will Lowe started out riding in the URA. I remember my dad telling him "Keep going for the rodeo and not the party and you can go as far as you want in this sport." That was back when Dad would have been about 38 or 40 and Will was in high school or just out. Some relatives of his still have an indoor arena around here and I've been to some jackpots there in recent years. |
