They are working on I 40. It is passable. I haven't been out but I have seen people posted on Facebook that they have been traveling 40 to and from Little Rock

If at all possible stay home another day or two and let the interstate traffic help clear the roads ... from Louisiana thru Dallas or to Ok City are iced over with 4+ inches of sleet .... SEMItrucks are traveling in ruts or stuck on icy grades from all directions ...
here is a Dallas tv station ... keep scrolling around on it to get the picture ... getting above freezing there in a day or so .... but Dallas is nothing but 50 ft tall hwy interchanges that are iced over ... bad bad news!! http://www.wfaa.com/weather
I am 100 miles north of Dallas and a 180 miles from Ok City ... everything is iced over and will remain below freezing the next 2-4 days .... no one is going anywhere!! Ice is totally different from snow ... OK CITY is raised hiways .. so you are in trouble there right now ...
I figure any activities in this frozen shut down north texas and ok city region will delay their shows until roads are open again ....

Didn't Arkansas just get declared a state of emergency? I'd go to the highway patrol site or some such rather than ask here. I'm not being snarky, just concerned. I'm in s.w. Oklahoma and it sleeted for 6 hrs Thursday before it snowed. Oklahoma has been declared Ina state of emergency since then. This storm traveled up i44 to OKC and I'm really hoping that you looked into the local weather. No deliveries of any goods by semis into my town for days now. The weather channel shows numerouswrecks on I 40 too. Be careful. Btw, Dallas is shut down, no planes in or out the last few days. eta, I see komet is on the ball. :)
Good effort trying to provide traveling information ...
but if you notice these idiots use county names instead of city names and hell no one knows the names of counties or where they are located even in your own state ...
more non essential gov employees to get rid of ... lol ..
Oklahoma and north texas are iced in as bad as anyone has seen it in 30+ years and no sign of relief of this cold high pressure cell moving in the next 2-4 days to warm things up above freezing ....
Going out to chop more holes in icy ponds and water tanks ... lol ..
