Where do you find good used useable 8 or 10 inch barrel saddle?

Teskey's always has a good stock of used saddles, but I'm not sure how plentiful that size is. Hard to beat the price of the new youth saddles at corrientesaddles.com.

if you facebook, many get listed under barrel racing tack or barrel saxdle for sale or trade.. Billy Cook makes a dandy barrel saddle in 8 or 10 Inch built with full quarter horse bars. If you have more than one child the saddle could be passed down as it will last for decades and not lose value.

If the size isn't on the floor I promise you they have it in their warehouse. They keep TONS of kids saddles in stock.

Teskey's is a better quality leather than Corriente when it comes to kid saddles. This is why Corriente saddles are hard to beat on price.

I would actually go with a 12” and get a seat shrinker like this https://shop.coolhorse.com/store/product/SSHRINKER?_vsrefdom=adwords...

You’ll get more usage out of it as the kid grows. My niece rode her youth saddles with one for a long time, then rode the youth saddles without one, then when her legs were long enough for the fenders started riding our saddles with the shrinker etc etc. It made more sense to invest in a higher quality saddle that would fit a full size horse better (important for us as she was team roping with us) that we knew she’d get many years of use out of.
