Does anybody know anything about the Grulla flag horse that they rode during the national anthem? Good looking animal. Looks like it may be a stallion..:-)

Lyle Lovetts (sp?) pal. reining horse has an incredible (and real) mane that would rival that horses. Good genetics, good feed, good care. They are braided up and are kept away from anything that might snag or rub.

horsegirl - 2013-12-10 6:38 AM It's absolutely real. Very common in the reining lines. They are also kept up and conditioned like crazy. It is possible.
My pali had a nice looong mane that I kept braided and conditioned. It was beautiful. Caught it roping a couple times and he decided he didn’t like it and rubbed it out on the panels in ONE day
