Location: Colorado | My best friend from high school got into a bad wreck. Not sure what exactly happened but it took them two hours to pull her from the vehicle. Air bags didnt go off either. She is in surgery now. She has no feeling from the shoulders down. She broke her neck and they dont know if she'll ever move again. They have to remove one vertabra(sp) and fuse two. A group of us are on our way to the hospital now. |

Location: Colorado | She made it through her first procedure. She has another one on Wendesday. Probably be in ICU till atleast Thursday. She is on a breathing tube because of chest swelling. She can talk. I guess she has feeling in her body just cant move anytjing. But its more like a tingly feeling. We have to wait another hour before we can see her. |

I've had some friends be in bad wrecks like this and that first week can be telling on what nerve damage is done or how someone's body may recover. Some have pulled out of it much better than what the doctor's first predicted so don't give up hope. |

Location: Colorado | I guess she hit ice and rolled. Its a possibility she was stuck for 30-60 mins before she was found and she was upside down the entire 2 hrs it took to get her out. Shes in good spirits though. Thanks for the prayers guys. If her next procedure on Wendesday goes as well as today she will hopefully be out of ICU Friday and in a normal roombut only time will tell. She actually looks good considering. And its amazing how strong she is being and how positive she is. Her parents too.
