Just thought I'd share....we were selling this horse for a lady, but I rode him and thought he'd be a perfect first horse for my boyfriend. He did not grow up around horses but is quickly adapting to my lifestyle! He's so nice...such a gentleman, dead broke, really soft, level-headed. He's a jam-up breakaway horse, my brother has been tying down calves on him, and word has it--he runs barrels. I never got a chance to take him around any cans though. What do you think?

Nice! You might want to give him a spin around the barrels, my friend has a similarly bred Colonel Freckles mare, around 14.2 hands and a wicked fast 1D horse.

Thanks! I wanted to try last week when I visited home but the ground was frozen and we couldn't get an indoor arena rented. He flexes really well and is super soft. And I know the gal that started him on the pattern....Hubby might just have to start riding my horse instead!!
