I was just curious, if anyone read the article in the BHN on Sherry and Stingray. It said that Stingray even won the infamous race at the Lazy E that didnt payout....or something along those lines. I don't have it in front of me and maybe I have some details mixed up. But does anyone know about that? They didn't really expand on it. I was just wondering what happened....

There's been a few of those deals--big races that didn't pay or didn't pay as advertised. I can think of another really bad one off the top of my head--NASHorse finals. Don't remember the years on any of them tho.

I saw that in the article too. I sorta kinda remember a thread on here maybe talking about it? That was long ago, I was a newbie and it didn't pertain to me so I didn't pay much attention.

There was a race here just in October that didn't pay as advertised on the flyer. They had fine print on a completely different page on the website - NOT on the showbill - that said they had entry requirements for added money & whatnot. VERY misleading. I sent a message to the producers & they were more flippant than apologetic. Their attitude & practices makes it easy to see why they're not getting entries.

One of my friends won money at the same show in Guthrie, also, and never got it. A few people who ran the last day of the show and waited there for their checks received them. Otherwise you were SOL! Know your show producers!
