Would anybody be willing to show off their kitchen and living room floors. Hubby and I are redoing ours and are having trouble coming up with ideas. Since we can't do the baby nursery as planned we decided to do something else to keep is busy.

daisycake123 - 2013-12-10 5:35 PM I would love to see someone concrete floor and how it looks, what stain and how it was stamped.
I love concrete flooring! A guy I worked for cut patterns in his floor and then stained it a rusty brown swirl design. It looked awesome and I wanted to add hints of turquoise but he wouldn't let me. I also like the hardwood laminate. I would NOT go with real wood floors, I've cleaned too many of them

I did stained concrete in my master bath. We can't do true hardwood as we are on a slab. I think we are going to go ahead with laminate because of the dogs and the fact we will be selling in a few years

I'm bored lol
Bored is good. I like those!
With dogs a rustic look would be better I think..dark and shiny shows dog hair and foot prints like crazy! You will become a slave to the **** floor!

You can get lino that looks like barn wood laminate. You have to get down on your knees and feel the groves to tell it's not laminate. That's what I will be getting in my next place.

We also put in some laminate that looks like hardwood and I love it! It looks so good and is easy to clean. It was approximately $1/sqft, so super reasonable.
