| How do you horse gals(and guys) carry your large cell phone when doing work around the farm? I see a lot of people with their phone in their back pocket but that does NOT work for me and my phone is too large to fit in my front pocket. How do you carry yours that isn't constantly in the way while you get work done?

Location: Riding Crackhead. | When its cold out I put my phone in an inside pocket of my coat or coveralls to keep the phone warm. I have a holder that clips to my jeans or belt that I can use when its nice out but if I'm riding especially during warm months when i don't have a coat I just don't take my phone. |

| I don't. My job pays the bill, so I don't take a chance on anything happening to it. I also love to disconnect when I get home, so I usually plug it in the minute I get home and don't touch it until the next day. I do take advantage of knowing, though, that anyone important would know to call my hubby if they needed me! |

| When it is cold enough for a jacket it is in the pocket. In the summer I always wear one of my husbands long sleeve fishing shirts to keep the sun off of me and I put it in the front pocket of the shirt. |

I don't remember the name, it's made out of nylon and it cost $10 at some trade show.... Money well spent! You can google Nylon cell phone pouches and you will get many results. |

Location: Never in one place long | Good question... i can't stand mine in my jeans pockets either and mine is actually small... if I put it in my coat pocket it keeps bumping my saddle and I'm worried it will ruin it.... A lot of times I put it on a post where I can hear it ring or even a barrel. daring I know but I never hit barrels. :) |

That's how I am currently carrying mine too...on a clip attached to my belt but its a pain because if its in the front it digs into my stomach when I sit down, when its in the back it digs into my back when I get into my truck and when its on my side it hangs on everything, ugh! Where do you wear yours? |

Location: North Dakota | This is pretty much the main reason I do not ever want a smart phone. I want to have my phone on me at all times while I am riding because I ride a lot of young ones and have been in an accident where I needed that phone. So I like my plain jane phone that is used to txt and make phone calls....lol. It fits in my front jean pocket when riding just right. I have tried a phone holder for it but I just kept forgetting it so I gave up on it...lol. Plus it felt clumsy and in the way sometimes so in the pocket the phone goes. Though I admit even this phone has trouble staying in the pocket on some of my jeans....darn woman's jeans with pockets pretty much just for looks. lol |

Can you attach a link to the one you are referring to? I bought a SPI belt which is basically a fanny pack for runners but when it got here it was about 1/2 the size I expected and my phone won't fit. |

Location: Qld Australia | I agree with whoever said the size is the reason they will not get a smart phone. Those things are crazy big!!!!
I also have a few young one plus A LOT of snakes and we stand a few stallions. I always have my phone with me just in case. Before I got my Galaxy POCKET I just had a small nokia slide phone and I always used a lovely leather pouch. It had a concho and crystals on it. I would hook it on my right jeans pocket and slide it to the back of that pocket to the outside on my hip/ thigh. There is usually didn't catch on too much and looked pretty.
My Galaxy Pocket is also a very little phone and has the benefit of internet etc but it is just a smiggin wide for my phone holder and I have trouble getting the phone out. Now I actually slide it into the change pocket of my jeans. It sits there snuggly and it IS NOT moving. The only jeans I find it sits higher than I like out of this pocket are my Q Babys. It fits fine but I just feel insecure with almost half the phone hanging out of the top. The rest of my jeans are perfect. |

Hahahaha, that's funny! I have carried mine in my bra before too but that's a little bit icky during the summer time when I sweat a lot and after hearing that there could be a possible link to women wearing their phone in their bra and breast cancer it scared me so bad I quit doing that at all. |

I agree with you...I want my phone on me at ALL times and smart phones are big and bulky and a pain in the neck to carry....but unfortunately, I DID get a smart phone and now I could never go back! |

Sorry I'm lucky to post so no link. You can get a fanny pack from walmart or other place that is large enough for a phone |

I got an SPI belt a while back too but haven't even tried it on because its about half the size I expected it to be and I think I'd have to stretch it to a ripping point to get my phone in it. Are there different sizes of SPI belts and maybe I got a really small one? My phone is in a Lifeproof case and I refuse to take it out of that box either...phones are WAY too expensive to risk it getting dropped in water or something like that from not being in a protective case. |

Well, that's cool! Never seen those before! All the phones they are showing in the video are pretty small though. I wonder how they'd work for larger phones? I might just order one and try it out! Thanks!! |

I wouldn't have had to lay on the ground for an hour with a fractured back and smashed ankle I had my my cell phone with me (if it had been in my back pocket it wouldn't have survivied).
We all need to ride with our phones and we need a safe place to carry them. |

| Update! About 2 weeks ago I ordered a Fuel Belt on eBay and its working out perfectly for my huge phone! I haven't worn a fanny pack since like 1985 but I'm not worried about how dorky I look because its the only way I have found to carry my big phone that isn't constantly in the way or falling out! My husband about laughed me out of the house when he saw it so I just told him he's cut off and went on about my day! Here is a picture of what I got. My phone is a Samsung S3 with a Life Proof case on it and this fits it perfectly.
