Location: NC | I thought that with a lot of us living rural settings so that we can hosue our horses you guys may have run into this problem too. I have fairly good cell service in my yard, but once in my house I lose it, with only random texts making in or out when I am near windows. Have you guys found any good cell signal booster products that work?? I am with At&T and have an iPhone 3 and iPhone 4. |

Location: Buffalo, Wyoming | We use one but for the life of me I can not remember which brand it is. I will look tonight.
The house we sold last year it worked great in. The house we live in now is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and it works pretty well. We really have no service at our place unless we go up the hill about a mile. With the booster I at least have 3G ( my phone is 4G) and can pretty do whatever I want it is just at a slower speed.
I wouldn't hesitate to get another one. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | We have a Wilson. They work as long as you have signal outside the house. We got a 72 db gain that was kind of expensive because our signal can get pretty weak. Makes a huge difference. Also, you want a directional (yagi) antenna and not the multi-directional. |

Location: NC | Thanks everyone. I would love to be able to get rid of my land line so I am not paying for a cell phone and land line. My internet speed is too slow to use the product that AT&T offers, and wondered if there was more of an antenna option.
Thanks I will look into the Wilson ones. |

Location: Missouri | We have the same exact problem! We bought a Wilson antena deal, it DIDNOT, they tried everything with it! I complained enough to ATT they sent me a micro cell tower. It says it has to be hooked up with high speed internet or DSL, we have satelite Internet, it works the only problem is when you talk there is a short delay sometimes. But at least I can make and receive calls and text! |

Location: mi | Just bought my mom and dad the Wilson for chirstmas. It works great with my moms phone but locks my dads up. They have Sprint and they say sprint doesn't support the boosters. Yet my moms phone works go figure. Anyways my cousins in the same area have the same one with Verizon and it works well for them. So if you don't have sprint the Wilson might work well for you. $200 on Amazon is where I got it from. |

Location: mi | That is the one I bought for my parents. Works in there house. They have the main thing in the dinning room which is kind of the central hub to a smaller home. I don't think they have tried going into the basement or too far away from it yet. |

Location: Missouri | SG, that is the same Wilson booster we had. It did not work for us. I spoke with tech support with Wilson, who were very nice and really tried to get me fixed. Yes I would have full bars on my phone but still no service! Crazy! Lol
I was told it had something to do with the IPhones.

It works great with my iphone Occasionally I have to reset network settings on it But without We wouldn't have service because of metal roofs Maybe you had a defective one? My antenna is outside up in a tree |

This one shows an antenna foe outside and inside... Or is it a different type of antenna. I just went with the one for a small home since we only really need it to work on the first floor, and the living room mainly.

The "small" Home doesn't have an external antenna That is what is important The link I provided has the external then it brings it inside and then the inside antenna takes over. Mine is for my work area which is a small area but the reviews showed me that the one you are trying wouldn't work You have to have an external |

You have to have an external
But when you look down the different pictures it shows to the left it shows a pictures for an outdoor anetenna and even labels one 'outside antenna' on one of the antennas.. |

| Thanks for all of the great info. Just ordered one of these for my husband. We have a metal shop, and you can never get service in there. Hope this works! |
