Rough or slick saddle seat???

Member Posts: 37	I am ordering a new barrel saddle and for the saddle I cannot decide between a rough out or slick seat. I have had both and I just can't seem to figure it out. I will be using it for barrel racing almost all of the time. What do you all suggest or prefer?

The Advice Guru Posts: 6419	I like the extra grip so I would go with a roughout, but I think it is all on personal preference

More bootie than waist! Posts: 18425 Location: Riding Crackhead.	I've got one suede, one stingray and one ostrich. I like them all. If you need to get up and hustle I prefer the slicker seats.
