Location: NM | Lol! That's funny! I have the confidence man builder. Now I need the horse.
maybe I should have started with my story.......Year before last we were in Phoenix. Went to a horse sale to meet Kelly. Bought a beautiful thoroughbred. Sent him to school for 30 days. He and I started to really click. My confidence was coming back along with my desire to run barrels again. Last year around this time he colic'd. We tried everything and ended up having to put him down. The last horse that was going to be good broke his leg and had to be put down. Soooooo, it was many years between my going to be good guys. I've decided to finally just try to get one already on the pattern. |

I was thinking the same thing. I have a gelding that built my confidence up and now will have at least 3 or 4 to run this next season. I'm too lazy to run that many. |

You could not get any further across this State than what SF and myself are. I'm in the NE corner of SD and SF is in the SW corner. |

Location: Four Corners Colorado | Wish I had helpful advice but I don't. I bought back the first horse I ever trained and she will be my confidence builder.....she is a 14hh pony but I trust her with my life. I raised her from birth and now she is 17. I'm going to start running her this spring so I can build my confidence enough to do my good mare justice. And so I can give my other babies a good start. Its seems like an eternity since I last rode something fast. I'm afraid I may have turned chicken .

Just curious but do you think its ok to date a younger guy? and if so how much younger is ok? Enquiring minds want to know. |

Dr. Coug says, yes, it's ok to date a younger man. As long as he's out of junior high. |

My husband is 12 years younger than me and we've been married 23 years; been together 25. When we were dating, he was more mature and responsible than all the older divorced 3 times men I had been dating, and the only thing I could find wrong with him was his age....which he could do nothing about. 25 years later, I wouldn't change a thing. They're all they're cracked up to be. |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I just want to say I was in your shoes. Things kept happening to my horses, or they just didn't make for me, and so I went several years without entering. Best thing I ever did for myself, aside from marrying a younger man (LOL) was buy a finished horse last winter. I had so much fun running him this year, and feel a lot more prepared for the really nice young one I have coming up. I didn't realize how much I had forgotten about making a balls to the wall run on a finished horse until I ended up wrapped around his neck turning the first barrel, looking like a spider monkey. ;-) |

That's what I'm going to look at tomorrow. I rode a colt that was started on the pattern today. I really liked him. Super sweet and mellow for a 5 year old. |
