Location: Wherever the Army sends my husband | So I've ALWAYS wanted a FWF and have decided to breed my mare. Of course there's quite a few nice sons and I'm having a hard time deciding. If this was your mare who would you pick?

| I am breeding my Hot Colours mare to FireWaterOntheRocks this spring. My second choice would have been Chasin Firewater but I don't think my mare confo wise would have crossed as good with him :) I have liked the Firewater Finale foals that I have seen for sale online though |

no I hate nutty ding bats. I have been around own daughters, they were all broodmares and all would kill you to save themselves...from nothing. It put a bad taste in my mouth for them. I haven't even been around something that was out of a daughter though so not sure if it rubs off on their babies. There are so many fantastic FWF stallions that I can pick and choose and still get a winner. They are just very prolific sires. I am not saying I won't ever breed to Happy, I just like some other stallions a bit more. Chasin is gorgeous, I just prefer Dazzler more. He is a lot of bang for your buck. |

I have been told the Alive N Firens can be pretty hard headed compared to the other FWF sons. |

He is pretty but in real life, not the photo shopped pics, he is hot dog long. Keep that in mind if breeding a longer mare. I have heard he puts a nice mind on his babies though. |

Oh hmm I wouldn't have been able to tell in the pictures. I know the babies with videos that sold from Frenchmans Quarter horses look like they have real nice minds. Shame he is long :'( |

Oh hmm I wouldn't have been able to tell in the pictures. I know the babies with videos that sold from Frenchmans Quarter horses look like they have real nice minds. Shame he is long :' ( Yes I had heard that and then finally saw him in person. But I haven't noticed it in the babies, never seen one in person just in the catalog, they do sell pretty well. I think they have some pretty nice mares they are breeding to him.
A Streak A Fling is super long too...and photo shopped in his ads. His babies seem to run about 50/50 that way. I wouldn't breed to him, but would possibly buy a good looking one by him. I really like his son French Streaktovegas. But that is getting off topic lol.
Firewater Dragon is so gorgeous too and bay!!! I love a pretty bay. There is another one standing down south somewhere, TX maybe, out of a St Bar daughter. He is palomino too. I love his breeding on the dam's side, just can't rememeber his name.

Our stallion is a grandson of Ronas Ryon on the bottom side. I absolutely LOVE his disposition. I don't think I could have asked for a better stallion with his demeanor. He's not dingy, crazy, wild, hot, etc., etc. He has the sweetest temperament ever. Of course, though, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. :)
Back to the original topic. I really like Crago's, Fire On Bug and Chasin Firewater.

I also like Ima Firefighter he is nice looking too. Almost bought one, but didn't work out. I would have liked to have breed to him somewhere down the line, but with my mare being short and( correct me if I am wrong)being around 15 hands I just don't want a too short horse. Not that short horses can't run, but even though I am only 4'8 I like having a horse nearish to 15'3. You do have a nice mare :) |

Oh I know and I love your guy. I have never personally been around grand get of Ronas Ryan just his daughters. He was a tremendous broodmare sire, just look at his stats. I have heard Happy is very easy to get along with and well behaved so it does say something. |

Location: Moved to Montana | I dont think you can go wrong with a son of FWF there are nice ones out there with a variety of bottom sides to fit a variety of mares. Pick one the size you like and go with it.
Eta I have spent some time looking at Flaming Firewater, I like his size and bottom side..... I need to win the lottery so I can afford to try all the crosses I think look good on paper.

I bred a big bodied, high withered Shoot Yeah daughter to Firewater Finale and got a gorgous stout palomino that looks like he will have some height as well. He's been so easy to halter break and work with. He also did a number to himself last Sunday peeling all the hide off his chest, but every day he is a doll to Dr on. I will breed back to him again in the future. Amy was a dream to deal with on the shipped semen and he is paid into all the great Futurity incentives (Future Fortunes as well) and his offspring really have a nice value.

Location: Smack in the middle of WA! | Fire On Bug is a great one. I had a mare by him that I raised. Ended up selling her because she was way to much like her mother and we didn't click. Saw him many times when he was still in WA and he was super nice to look at and be around! I also raised a nice colt by A Firewater Twist RB last year and he was great but alas I prefer mares and sold him. The gal loves him and said he is so easy to handle. I've seen Twister at many races and say all the same about him. Big, beautiful and great disposition! Going with Firewater Finale this year. Have heard great things about dealing with Amy and I love that he does more than run barrels! I also saw Firewater Dragon last year at the nbha super show in Vegas and he is also outstanding! Would love to have one of them as well

Location: North Dakota | Can't go wrong with either FWOTR or. Chasin Firewater in my opinion.
They both have great conformation that could compliment almost any mare, good temperaments, proven highly as producers of performers. Happy is always my #1 pick because he to me is a carbon copy of his sire is every way. Chasin firewater has been a little more popular pedigree wise because Vickie has always said the best cross on FWF was a BA75 mare. Good luck with your decision |

| FWOTR. I have had 2, there was nothing nutty about them. Both great minded & smart. The guy that starts my colts, says he normally has to ride 100 to find one as nice as mine, & he is even out of a thoroughbred & DTF bred mare. Happy puts such a good disposition with them.
I am wanting a firewater ta fame though, he has become a great producer. |

| I have had one Chasin Firewater and two Firewater Finales. The CF was out of my favorite mare who I won a lot on. The FF's were out of a daughter of Leaving Memories and PITS/Shawnee Bug. All very nice!! But, I would have to say the FF by the PITS/Shawnee Bug is my ultimate favorite. I wished he was a she, I would keep him! HEre are the two by FF..The CF is on my work computer. He is gorgeous!
ETA: The bay colts picture is too big, sorry!
