Looks like another hard luck night like last night. Hopefully they'll send round 10 out with a bang.

I do not have cable or satellite so I listen on the live radio.  After the first barrel racer the live feed went down (for me anyway) so all I could do was keep refreshing the leaderboard results.   I too wondered what happened.  Lot of downed barrels for sure.

I can't imagine how tired the competitor's are.  Sherry sounded hoarse in her behind the chutes interview.  I would have to go home & sleep for a week after 10 + days of their commitments.

I bet they are so ready to get home and be back in their own beds and the horses are ready for their home stalls or pastures.

Practice for barrel racers is at 6am.  So if they want arena time to correct an issue they have to be up at the butt crack of dawn & then I'm sure they are at a dead run the rest of the day.  And if they win a round then they have the buckle ceremony that they have to stay up late for.  There's really no time to celebrate until it's all over.

Sherry and Stingray are really tired...Stingray was fading in round 6 and even more in round 7. I'm surprised they have clocked in the 13's yet. You can see Stingray fade 3/4 of the way from the finish line. Stingray doesn't have anything left, she is running on all heart. I don't know what Bo is on but he looks fresh yet. You can see the other are real tired too. Sherry Placed in round nine also, it was a clean run.

Just the running every night for 10 would be exhausting, I can't imagine how bad it is with all the added obligations to sponsors and WPRA. It's a wonder they don't all end up sick in bed for a month afterwards.
