| Picked up a project horse this week....
and I need a barn name for her. She was called Lady. I will be honest I am not a fan of the name.
I had a dog named Lady and well, we won't go into that story...
I don't have any good pictures of her yet. But I have a few face shots:

She is a big girl....and super fat and out of shape. Totally putting her on the get in shape program for the next month.
Here is pedigree:

Nothing really fancy at all in my opinion, she is foundation horse registered. Again-just a project to work with and resell down the road.
Anyways-GIVE ME SOME BARN NAMES!
CANNOT BE:
Gunner Sky Hollywood Monster Kota Darla Sonic Lex Rosie
(These are all horse names I have or have had previously) |

| EARS ...
Sometimes when a horse has their ears cupped like that ... they may have an eye sight problem ... next time you have a vet out just have her checked ... just a visual observation on my part on how she seems to hold her ears in order to hear better..

I never really noticed her ears, she has a HUGE head so I never really got past her noggin!
I do actually like that though!
Hmm good to know about the sight thing....won't say what I paid, but it was not much. I will keep that in mind. She has not given me the impression she has eye sight issues, but will mention it to the vet because with horses you just never know!

| Thanks! We have been working on trailer loading. Each night she gets fed in the trailer.
Have had her since Wednesday. Rode her today, right now she is a rough ride, but only because she is green. She really likes to lean in on her circles, and is sensitive but super resistive to the bit.
I really like a bendy horse and one that gives their face and follows their nose-so we have our work cut out for us. Not sure when she had her teeth done, so I am going to try and get those looked at before I really work on softening this horse up.
Overall though she has a fluid feel to her and naturally goes to her butt, so I feel like the reason she is so resistive to the bit is because she needs her teeth done ASAP and because she doesn't know any better.
Regardless-she will be fun. Just another horse to ride so I can personally work on developing better timing and feel because you only get good by devoting time in the saddle AND riding lots of different horses.

Thanks for all the name ideas! |

| So far the only name that is sticking is Bohemeth and mare...
and well...that just is not going to work.
Need more name ideas!
We did come up with Brandy-and I liked it until I thought it sounded like a hooker name...sorry if anyone on here has that name...
Here is a side shot of "Bohemeth":

| Reba, Lucielle(Ball), Carol (Burnett), Ginger Spice... I'd definitely name her after a famous redhead. lol.
If worse comes to worse- my husband thinks my gelding has a gigantic noggin, so he calls him "Sockhead". |

I like initials. I had one I call DB. It stood for Dingle Butt. Some people thought Dingle Brains, but Butt fit him much better. Best horse I ever owned, but he was a major butt

Yes, she reminds me alot of an old mustang mare I use to ride named Casino. Same color and markings! |
