Absolutely love his style of running and turning every single round.    Is he as stout as he looks or is she only 54 pounds?  Lol.  He looks wide as a truck and can still turn rounded and so correct.   Does anyone have all the interesting and fun facts on him and his seasoning and training?   He's Gorgeous!

The horse is a dream and my favorite kind.  I will always love the stout wide-bodied horses.  They're what Quarter Horses were meant to be before so much cross-breeding with Thoroughbreds (which I also love).

Is it just me or does Louie seem to get better with age? I have always been a huge fan of Lisa and Louie, loved Chisom too.

I love him too! If I could ride any of the top 15 he would be my choice! He is so honest and makes it look easy! And love the way he flattens out when he finishes turn on the third! Totally stretches out!

I was going to suggest to Benje, to give them a back up song.
I love Louie as well, OP! I hope that Lisa and he can rodeo just like last year and get the same awesome results.

If I could pick any horse at the finals to make a run on it would be Louie hands down! He and Jethro are the reasons I have the horse I have now and went and bought me a Judge Cash mare to breed....

Be careful what you wish for, Lisa says Louie is hard to ride, but she is glad he looks easier than he feels! He is a big stout guy and deserves recognition. He is such a superb athlete. Go Lisa and Louie!

Thanks for the great info on Louie.  I wonder what he's like to ride on an everyday basis and what he has for little quirks.  But maybe he's perfect!   Lol.

I've loved Louie since Lisa made her very first run at the NFR on him. He makes they same pattern whether its at the Canadian Finals, Strathmore, the NFR. Awesome little horse.
