Thought I heard Joe Beaver make a comment that one of the guys steer wrestling was riding the palomino because 1/4 of the payout was better than nothing. I guess the owner is getting 75% ?? I think I will invest in a steer dogging horse. Those horses are phenomenal, love how they focus, put the cowboy by the steer then step off and get out of the way.

History is that owner gets 25%, don't think this has changed, but been out of the loop for a while. Jessie has a history of making his owner big money at the NFR and looks like Oate will be doing the same, he is one gorgeous Palomino, for sure
