| Do you find them slippery and/or do they hold up well? |

Location: Southwest New Mexico | Mine rubs holes in all my pants. Very tough and holds up well. Don't have a problem staying in the saddle but it is slick. I wouldn't get one again because of my pants |

| I don't have one but I've heard if you get the black skinned one and you leave it out in sun (say your at a jackpot and get off for a bit) they get HOT!! So watch your bum haha! I personally think they are pretty bad ass! |

Location: Illinois | I love my stingray seat. Not slippery at all, in fact its more grippy than a lot of other hides I have ridden in. Mine seems to be pretty indestructible so far and doesn't get hot in the sun, its black stingray too. I think maybe a lot depends on how the hide is made, what products they use to dye it or seal it? I haven't had any issues with my jeans with it either. I was skeptical when I was having my saddle made because I had heard rumors of slickness, but mine is actually very grippy. They said the seat would last forever under hard use so we'll see what it looks like in another ten years. Its had almost 3 years and still looks like it hasn't been sat on! |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | This is my stingray seat so maybe since it's not a full seat is why it's not wearing my jeans. My daughter has a full ostrich seat (not the fake ostrich) and we don't find that slick either.

Location: Oklahoma | I LOVE my stingray seat... but yes, you do wear through the inner thighs of your jeans MUCH faster... I average 4-6 months per pair of jeans now. I don't find my saddle to be slippery. The seat has help up very well. My saddle was new in January 2009... |

Location: Kansas | I liked mine....until I wore "bling" jeans. My butt couldn't stay in that saddle because I slid around in it when I wore those jeans with the bling on the pockets. Very comfortable saddle though |

Mine has a bicycle seat. I am now a rep for Triple Creek Saddles... I am in the process of designing my newest one... I might go stingray again for the durability, but I am thinking of the inlaid like yours.

I had never thought of it before this thread was started but maybe my inlaid is the reason my jeans don't wear. I wore the thighs of my jeans out horribly when I was healthy (fat) but I never blamed it on the saddle seat. I've just never had a problem. |
