Just curious what a ballpark figure would be for doing touch-up painting (and staining) on the interior of a house.

My husband and I have had some issues with our new home, and I am going to end up finishing the painting and staining myself. And I will be sending a bill to the general contractor for my work, because the painter they hired should have done it right the first time. So I just kinda need to know what to charge.

Any ideas? I've tried calling around to local places but everyone I have called won't give me a price over the phone. They all want to come and physically look at my house before telling me a price. Which of course, would be silly, because I am going to do it myself.

Thank you.

Anyone else have a ballpark for your area?
