| As the year is drawing to a close, I thought it would be fun to express our priorities, wants, and goals for the upcoming season. I always make a list every year to see if I've met my own criteria. I may add more to the list but to start:
Priorities:
Haul more
Find a great lameness vet (precaution to keep happy horses)
Wants (if I win enough to buy):
BOT or PHT blanket (I haven't decided between the two therapies)
Goals:
Run 2D or better at super shows with my upcoming five year old

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | Priorities:
Get the all clear from Dr. Tanner on Lilly (January 20th she is scheduled to go back and is currently in rehab and doing great!)
Upgrade the trailer so all of the horses are riding on a better ride to keep maintenance down (we haul a lot)
Wants:
BOT for Mystic/ PHT for Salty
New saddle for Lilly (seriously considering a Pozzi)
Some additions to the new trailer if I can afford it
Goals:
Sell Biscuit within a month (shouldn't be hard to do-that horse should sell himself)
Get Ashton running the top of the 2D so she can buy her UPRA card and rodeo this year
Keep everyone sound and healthy all year
Note: I would love to hit the 2D on both Lilly and Salty and I think they both can but if we get to run all year and everyone stays healthy, I am going to call it a day and a successful year.

I’m starting a new, better job in January so I can’t cross it off my 2013 list but it’ll be the first crossed off in 2014!!
Priorities:
Haul more to ropings and barrel races
More hours of practice on the dummy and less hours on my horse (he knows what he’s doing!)
New (to me) Trailer
Wants:
New barrel saddle
Miniature pony (for my son, of course...)
Goals:
Have my mare check in foal to FF
Win a BUCKLE off my rope horse (I want a new one so bad!)
Start the 5yo on barrels
Get Ruger (aka McLovin) riding well and ready to start on barrels/roping this fall
Start my 2 ponies on barrels/poles
Help my sis gain confidence in herself and her horse

Horses in shape first and foremost
Wants:
To be able to pull out of the driveway with horses in the trailer headed to a race more than 3-4 times in the year 2014.
Goals:
Have myself at the top of my game each ride, each run to make the most of every opportunity I do get on them. |

| I've been thinking about mine too! And I'm looking forward to 2014 
Priorities:
Study harder and take my college courses more seriously so I can graduate a semester early.
Start my new job and work enough at my second to have some extra money to save.
Eat healthy and workout so I can feel better about myself and get my digestive health better.
Grow a stronger relationship with God!
Wants:
See where I'm at financially to possibly get a truck!
Start paying for my cellphone bill.
Goals:
Become a better rider!
Ride my horses and keep them in shape.
Haul more (I go to little barrel races,etc) and become a better team with my girl since I just started last year!
Keep stronger relationships with my family, friends, and boyfriend and not take them for granted.
Start being positive and boost my self confidence!

Bubbles & TJ will be turning 4 so they need to get to the point that they're riding really solid, no more pampering them.
KC, Angus & Quig will all be 3, need to get about 60 days solid riding on each of them.
Ruger will be turning 2 so I need to put 30-45 days on him.
Get Colbee & Pinkie patterned for mounted shooting.
Get Ollie 100% solid with his shooting & add the speed in.
Wants:
PHT Blanket & bell boots for Ollie.
A couple days off to go float around on the lake & pretend I'm catching fish!
Goals:
Become a CMSA L4 shooter (currently 1 win away from it!)
Qualify for CMSA Worlds again & actually make the trip this time.
Consistently be in the top 10 at the shoots on Ollie, top 5 would be even better.

Priorities:
Get Duncan hauling... he's got a solid foundation and I need to quit playing and get serious
Break my coming 3 year old
Get my daughter in riding lessons to see if she really wants to stick with it
Start saving money to try and buy a house in 2015
I'm repping for a couple of companies... try to get that as a decent 2nd income
Wants:
PHT blanket
Soft ride boots
New saddle
Goals:
By summer be hitting at least the 3D with Duncan. He has all the potential

try to ride as I can and hit the races I can make
juggle my relationship with my boyfriend, school, and horses.
Wants-
for my two mares to have healthy foals in the spring!
for my two foals to sell so I can save up to breed next season (already have one mare paid for but would like to breed a second)
Goals-
to get my Zoom running the best she can be. She had stifle surgery in October and will be able to run in February. I would LOVE to enter her in the Diamonds and Dirt derby but I am not sure I can gamble the money on it…
Renew my WPRA card so I can enter some rodeos in the Spring and summer…
^^^Have something decent enough to take to said rodeos in spring and summer
Haul as much as I can over the summer when I am not in school. |

| Wants to be healthy enough myself to run, I have been sidelined for 6 months, therefore my futurity horses will have to become derby horses. I have decided to hold them back a year as they are no longer on track.
I also want to drop 20 lbs

Find a decent prospect to start on the pattern
Hopefully have said prospect exhibitioning by fall
Have fun, enjoy my last few years of highschool
Save up some money for college

Find a decent truck within my price budget, looking for a ford with a decent 7.3 in it
Goals:
Finish out this school year with a 4.0
