Our new barrel mare is ringing her tail, cross firing and almost wanting to buck at the second n third barrels. Something is obviously sore. Prior owner swears she has never done any of this before. Any ideas on what to check other than hocks? She travels very sound other than that.......

what about saddle fit? I had a mare that bucked me off one time ONLY time she had ever bucked and come to find out my saddle was pinching her in her shoulders, It was only on the right hand turn she started stopping behind the first barrel too. I would check your saddle and make sure she isnt sore in her back and shoulders also.
