Just wanting a little more info on this show.............how many contestants will there be? Seems like their getting a lot of people qualified and invited..............how many in each event? This is still a one day show, right?

There will be a total of 20 contestants in each event. The top 10 in the world and the 10 that qualified. (Not including the retired rodeo veterans they ask to come) It is a one day event. For the barrel racing, 50 will go to the semi-finals which will be held in Mesquite, Texas all 50 will run on a Thursday, top 20 fastest times of that 50 will come back and run either Friday or Saturday (depending on how you draw up) in a performance with all of the other events. The top 10 times from that will then go to the Dallas Cowboys Stadium to compete against the top 10 in the world. They will run the actual American just like a regular rodeo with all the rodeo events, and there will be a total of 20 contestants.
