I have a lady who bought a horse from me to run sr pro and she is trying to get me to go along with her. I actually showed with her 30 yrs ago as a kid and her stopping her was by chance. She has MS and thinks this will be her last chance, I think she wants me to go so she will have someone to help her in case her MS acts up. This is my first year being old enough to join. Do you enjoy it and any helpful advice would be appreciated. We have 5 days of Sr rodeo with in 20 miles of home so figured I would do those for sure. This lady has become a very good friend and I think this is a chance to help her live out one more dream before she can't so I am honored that she wants to include me. I only have young horses so it will be a learning opportunity I guess. Thanks

Ours are spread out pretty good and with the traveling you could hardly break even if you won. It also takes away your amateur AQHA standings if you care about competing at AQHA shows.

Thanks luckily we do have these close ones so won't be out much for fuel at least. We have no AQHA events with barrels which is to bad I use to enjoy doing that .

My mom went last year for the first year ever and she absolutely loved it! I gave her my horse and off she went, she said it was the time of her life! She did great too, made the finals here & the finals in Vegas but didn't end up going to Vegas!
