It has been a crappy week so far.
The Friday after Thanksgiving I was driving around with windows down at 59 degrees enjoying the sunshine. Fast forward one week later and we hit our coldest day of the year so far at negative 42 with windchill. Fast foward one week later and we are 80 degrees higher at positive 40. Now, here we are a week later and my car is reading negative 12 again tonight. I'm sick of this weather, it is hard on the horses and a pain to deal with. I want to crawl under a rock and hibernate.
Additionally, If anyone could spare some comforting thoughts one of my very best friends and our fellow BHW member GiddyupLPN - her mother passed away this week.
On a related note - I just got back from the hosptial from visiting my aunt who was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer and is recuperating from surgery. They had to remove part of one of her lungs.
Hug your family and friends and tell them how much you love them because you never know when you may not get another chance.

This weather sucks, my horses are so confused. Monday night I had to curry the MUD off of them to put their blankes on in preparation for the -0 temps that were coming later that night..
So sorry about your aunt and your friend's mom. Sending hugs and prayers of comfort.
