| I have a chance to buy a colt from this breeding and I would like to know all the good and bad,so if you anyone out there could give me some insight I would greatly appreciate it.  |

Location: Utah | In my pen right now I have a daughter of Streakin La Jolla (who is MJP's sire) as well as a daughter of Feature Mr Jess (son of MJP). I really really like both of my mares they are very fun mares. They both were really easy to train, smart, very much people pleasers. My SLJ mare has been retired as a brood mare due to a slab fractured knee. She was more ratey on the pattern, my FMJ mare is coming 5, and hopefully will mature more this next year, she is a real free runner and has a big big motor. I should have never ran her as a 4 year old, she needed another year to mature... I wouldn't shy away from MJP horses after my experience with mine. |

Location: Texas | I have a mare out of an own daughter of mjP by heza fast dash and she is a very smart mare. She seems to learn things fairly quickly and if you get off her fOr a few weeks she remembers what you had taught her previously. She seems like she is going to be a Push style type of horse but she does get a little on the hot side when she is nervous. I have oy had her a few months but I do like her and she has a ton of potential. |

He Is a 7 year old son of Pretty Boy Perry by Mr. Jess Perry. out of a Runaway Winner/By Yawl mare.
He was quite a handful at first. When I got him . he was still kind of race track broke.
I did my round penning on him, and got him super broke.
He's so put together, and for a big boy,( 16.0HH 1,300lbs)
He sure carries himself very well.
I've done miles and miles of extreme off the trail riding on him. He knows where his back feet are!
I trust him, he feels safe out. No booger, very sensible, no bad habits, smart and a people pleaser!!
And a handsome boy to boot! <3
He is starting to enjoy running barrels. I love his stride..and boy he can turn..
He can get hot..... so I consider that in our warm up, and try and keep him quiet and happy.
He had 9 starts and has a 84 SI.
He is a clown, loves to be the center of attention, and makes me laugh!!!
I 've got almost 1 1/2 years of slow work and he won money in his first competition last October.
Instead of entering him more, I'm going slow. By next year ...he is going to be very good!
I am lucky to have him.
If you have a chance to get one like my Dave, DO IT. Be patient and firm.and give him time....
He will be worth every minute..

| We just sold a colt that was by Rock Solid Jess (x Mr Jess Perry) and I have to say he was one of the smartest most willing colts I have dealt with. He was very in your pocket but he could out whit you quick! Lol and he was funny about it. Looking to find a daughter of MJP soon. |

Location: You never know where I will show up...... | We have a daughter of MJP in our broodmare herd. Her oldest foal by Firewater Finale is a 2 coming 3 year old. The girl that has him has him broke out and so far he has been a dream.
She is in foal to our Frenchmans Guy son for this year, very excited to see what we get from that cross as well. |

| I have a granddaughter to mjp. Best horse we have ever owned. First one to greet you at the barn, always pleasant to be around and super easy to ride. She's a 6 year old and my handicap sister rides her everywhere. |

I have a coming 3 YO filly by Rock Solid Jess out of a FDD daughter and she's awesome! we got her at the HP fall mixed sale and brought her home and got on her. She's very smart and has a good stop. She's very mature, at least so far. I don't even go in the round pen anymore before I get on her. |

| I have a grandson of mr Jess perry. I have high hopes for him but unfortunately I haven't had much time for him in the last two years. He's smart and picks things up fast both good and bad. | Its kind of a long shot but I have a 3 y/o that is out of a 3/4 brother to mr jess perry and he is extremely laid back has a big heart. However, i rode another horse with the same sire and didnt like him, he was kind of spastic so i really think the rest of the breeding will have a big impact.

Location: Deep South | A guy around here crossed an own son on race bred mares for quite a while, he recently cut him though, the colts were just SO big. I know a lot of people like big horses, but he's in the business of raising and selling and the majority of people want an averaged sized horse in the 15-15.3 range. They also tended to be pretty late to mature. Once they finally did though, they were nice, athletic, willing to please. I guess people just aren't as willing to take the time on them as they used to be with all the quickly maturing lines available, and futurities and all. |

| I have a coming 3 year old filly that is MJP bred & her momma is FDD bred. This filly never ceases to amaze me how smart & willing she is. Everything I show her she remembers. We rode her in our big arena the first time we even threw a leg over her. She acts like she is a 100 and been there & done that. I got lucky & bought her in a sale & didn't really know what I was getting but I am so glad that I have her. She will be 3 officially in June (2014) so I still have a long ways to go but it will be definitely worth the wait.
