When a business of that size makes a stand, it needs to be a strong steady one.
In my opinion, they failed to practice the TTT rule:

Exactly! "Duck Dynasty" is owned by A&E. The Robertsons own Duck Commander. So if you buy their gear, please make sure it is Duck Commander. |

| Unfortunately, it is Duck Dynasty merchandise which is licensed by A&E rather than Duck Commando products which is the Robertson family company. I doubt those that realize that are going to purchase the merchandise anyway. However, I, for one, say KUDOS to Cracker Barrel for being brave and smart enough to say "hey"! (as Si would put it) we made a mistake, we forgot that Bible Thumper's money is just as green as anyone's and we get more money from the Faith Based customers than we do from the LGBT community"! Yes, it is all about money but at least they are smart enough to know when they screwed up and admit it!

Apparently, they forgot and were quickly reminded. Cracker Barrel may of been dumb to make the mistake to begin with, but smarter than A & E, who has yet to figure out or be brave enough to realize their own stupidity in creating this whole fiasco to begin with their knee-jerk reaction. |

Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | If A&E wouldn't have made a stink about Phils interview with GQ, I gurantee I would have never even heard about or read a GQ interview. They could have kept it quiet and went on and most people wouldn't have the slightest clue. I believe A&E dug their own grave by making such a big deal of an interview. For some reson I feel like most lesbians and gays who are comfortable and confident with themselves could care less what Phil says in a GQ interview.
As for cracker barrel, for years I've never found anything I liked except their salad with grilled chicken, but in Oct my hubby and I tried their buttermilk fried chicken and it is so delicious that I now crave Cracker Barrel. |

I went to Walmart yesterday with my husband. We were noticing all of the DD stuff everywhere. It made me think about the Paula Deen thing over the summer and how they pulled all of her merchandise from their stores. Obviously the Duck Dynasty gang must make a lot more money for Walmart than Paul Deen did! |

Wouldn't it be GREAT if all the merchandise crap was made here in the U.S.??? The Robertson's brag about their "handmade" duck calls but then all the merchandise is made overseas in a sweat shop no doubt. |

Duck Dynasty stuff is sold by A & E. I would be curious, though, if Duck Commander sell anything made overseas. Interesting question. |

I am not sure they make any of the products they sell other than their calls. I would guess they are like most company's they sell their brand and some one else makes and markets their products. Just my guess. |

Chicken fried steak is NOT chicken.. It's ground beef battered and cooked like fried chicken. |

Well.. It used to be a Country Fried Steak. (CFS) Down here it's a Chicken Fried Steak..
One thing I have learned about this area... Being from the south means never having to say.. "I didn't know you could deep fry that..." |
