Location: Central TX | A couple weeks ago I posted about how my beautiful 17 year old nieces life had been taken over by an eating disorder which turned into binge eating disorder ( compulsive over eating) and how within a year she has went from being a vivacious, popular, beautiful woman with a huge future ahead of her in highschool and college rodeo to living in her room gaining almost 60 pounds in the span of just 6 months. Today her mother (my older sis) had to check her into the suicide watch at a hospital in Tulsa...on the 23rd of December because she is so depressed about being overweight. This girl is literally one of the most beautiful girls I know and I just cant believe the change in her...its so heartbreaking. As you can imagine, my sisters heart is in pieces. She is a single mommy who is losing her greatest blessing everyday. She told me today.."I wish that I could take the Double J pozzi saddle I got her for christmas to the hospital to put a smile on her face...but they wont let me" Please if you could spare a prayer for my family...it would mean the world...thank you... |

| Prayers for you all. I wish you could let her know how much everyone loves her, even us from BHW. God loves her and her weight doesn't defy who she is. She can get out of this, weight isn't the end of the world! |

Location: Texas | Eating disorders of any kind are such a cruel affliction. Most of us just eat when we get hungry and forget about food the rest of the time. To the person with an eating disorder, food and weight consumes their every thought.
I pray the right help is found for your niece.

Location: Exactly where I am supposed to be | I have been wondering about her since I first heard of her situation a couple weeks ago....so many prayers to her and her mother and you.......what a hard thing to deal with around Christmas .........she should be excited about Christmas not having to feel these feelings........so much pressure is put on woman in this world today to look this way or dress that.......I wish I could help them realize how beautiful and special they are waaaaay better then what the world says, I will continue to pray that she finds that out for herself and becomes happy and and excited about life and all the opportunities out there for her ........
Dear Lord I ask that you place your hand of protection guidance and happiness over this young lady and her family in dealing with this struggle they are currently facing. Lord I ask that you show her all of the things she has to look forward to and all of the wonderful things left to experience.......show her the girl you see when you look at her, not the one she sees when she looks into the mirror .....give them hope and peace this holiday season so they see that the coming year is only going to bring joy and happiness and the feeling of victory, Lord I ask all this in the name of your son Jesus Christ ....AMEN
