Long story but I PAID money to save a horse... I have SUCKER written on my forehead but I just could not leave him in that condition. I did not think it thru and do not want to keep him forever. I just wanted to fix him up and find him a better home. Anyhow- I have reached out to all the rescues in Oklahoma. Any other thoughts? I have a few leads via the rescue groups but just thought I ask yall:)

you can post it in here free and it will get moved to the dog pound, so you can just post it over there and save the admins the hassle of moving it.  Just hope people remember to go over there every now and then and look.

He is very well bred (bred by an AQHA hall of fame breeder) and ran on the track. He is a very large horse- seems sound, had him looked at by the vet- teeth done ect. He is a very sweet and kind horse. Gentle but only race track broke. Easy to handle- tie, feet, deworm and so on. I will try and post a pic from my phone if I can figure it out. I have his papers and signed transfer.

I am located in Pryor, which is about 30 minutes Northeast of Tulsa. Where is the horse located? I may have an empty stall per husband's okay in the barn and have been looking for a project. This might work out for both of us. I love rescue horses. They will give you their heart when they know you got them out of a bad situation.

Awww, thanks, Roxie....it's so much worse since I broke my arm. I'm so happy y'all liked the card. It makes me smile to think about everyone reading it lol. I only sent out 50% of my intended victims before Christmas....I should get the other half before Valentine's Day.....so keep checking those mailbox's little buddies lol.

And I don't want to offend anyone but I hope the person would understand that I would need some personal references, vet reference and see the place where he would live. Otherwise I would just put him on Craigslist and throw him to the wolves:) ((NEVER))

I think I have him here.

Boy, he would make someone an awesome project. Poor dude had a rough go. Thank you for taking care of him and trying to do right. I hope he gets a great home.

I haven't heard to much about joyful hope, but the mare I own is very level headed and quiet. Pretty as all get out. Is he appendix?

Kim...I messaged you on Facebook. I have the perfect home in mind....and no, it's not me, but it is a good friend. Fairly newly married, so doesn't have much money, but is an excellent hand and has a big pasture with ankle deep grass and takes awesome care of her horses.

I sure appreciate all the offers. I don't want to offend anyone by screening them. I did pay money- put blood sweat and tears and time in to getting him healthy- along with hurting another horse due to the fact that I had Streaker under treatment-- LONG story but anyhow- Im not handing him over without questions and screening. I just want to find the best fit for him and the person taking him so he is not moved around too much more. I will try and find a contract for first right of refusal or whatever that is called-where I can get him back if something changes in the new home and they can no longer keep him.
