| NO ONE ...
They are like cars and trucks ... they decrease in value every year until they are worth nothing and no one will re-finance them if you decide to sell them.
Borrow the money to build you a nice shop building with house windows and porch and put in plumbing like you would for your house plans and do finished inside walls .... then after it is built .. ... come in and add walls for each room, kitchen and bath fixtures .... even if you have to do one thing at a time .. DO NOT CALL IT A METAL HOUSE WHILE DOING YOUR FINANCING ETC ETC ... This costs less than half than if you called it a metal house ... just like anything that has horse stamped on it is double the price of same item with plants or cow stamped on them ... lol

Location: kansas | Palm Harbor, makes the best. I don't live in one because we don't have dealer for them. Please pay to have you doublewide put on a foundation, makes a big difference, also make sure it has the northern insulation package, cheaper in the winter and the summer. If I had it to do over again, I would have upgraded a few things in mine, but not a lot. Be sure to go with the best dealer you can find, some of them are like car salesmen. |

Location: Where the stars at night are big and bright, TX | Not a great investment. Have you looked into Redi-built homes? They are a site built home, nothing mobile or modular about them and appreciate just as any other site built home. A lot of people do either straight up custom builder homes out here or the Redi-Built homes. We are so far from the rest of the world/supplies/resources and so few custom companies it takes forever, it's a popular option for site built homes out here. |
