I wanted to stArt my mare on Aloe Vera Juice but I am not sure how much to give her. Do you feed it once a day or twice a day and how much? Tha ks for yalls help!

I tend to 'grain' once a day, varying quantity per each horse. Those I feel need it get 1 cup. Ones with 'issues' get grain twice a day with 1 cup per feeding. Like so many horsey things, for me it falls under the " I THINK I can tell a difference and I haven't killed them yet, so must be alright", plus I take it personally and really don't even measure it.

We give 60ccs in a dosing syringe once a day on an empty stomach...then wait 30 min to an hour to feed. It seems to be soothing our 1 horses stomach upset.
