I have a colt, I ride him in a twisted wire Oring snaffle. He does sliding stops in it, i mean works great in it, but I think it's time for a step up for when we run. He's starting to learn the concept about running the pattern & loves it. He's starting to get stronger and wants to run threw my hands. It's not like he's running off he's just getting stronger, even with slow work & stopping him.... Any suggestions?

Maybe try something like a Junior Cowhorse or Sherry Cervi short shank bit. I have the Sherry Cervi 3 piece twisted dogbone short shank bit and I love it!
