| I'm guessing that is what makes you a better barrel horse trainer than most of the men out there.............I'd never be able to ride behind most of them. |

| Love to see fellow barrel runners riding different disciplines. I jumped my OTTB mare for awhile and it was a great experience. Good for you - you look great! |

Sorry but I'm pretty sure that's not dressage. Wrong type of saddle. It looks more like a jumping saddle to me.
Lol sorry, I'm not trying to come off as a know it all but I took English lessons for a few years. I really wanted to become a show jumper and I studied really hard but I never really was in the right place to do a lot of English shows and stuff. Plus my heart always went back to barrel racing lol so that's what I stuck at. |

Thank you for the correction, but I can call it dressage if I whata I practice a few dressage moves in my barrel saddle all the time

Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | Sexy!!!! You look awesome and that horse is one nice hunk of horse flesh. Can I send my non horse husband to spend a few weeks with you? He's learned how to handle them on the ground, but in 5 years he's been on their back 3 times and althought it's very entertaining and cute to watch him, he needs HELP. He got 'stuck" in a pine tree and the mare basicaly took him for a ride. You should see him trying to use the reins. Basically pulling on both sides of the mouth, which doesn't work with my barrel horses so the best thing i could come up with was to tell him to pretend the reins were handle bars on a 4 wheeler. and he took the handle bar thing seriosuly the entire ride!!!! |

Location: MD | He was such a super cool horse! I knew him while he was still in race training. I inquired about him when I heard that he was being retired, but he was already spoken for by one of the girls who galloped him. She took him home, turned him out for a few months and then called me, saying that she just didn't haave time to start him back. I went and got him that afternoon! I think this picture was taken his third or fourth day back under saddle. |

He's become a bit of a specialist in the Children's Hunter ring, but has helped many kids move up to the Small Juniors, as well. |
