Its impossible to find decent clear pics of men barrel racers or barrel horse trainers! Hylnn has a couple of really good ones for me that I may be able to use but I still need to find some more to choose from I'm working on a new romance about a guy that's a barrel horse trainer and I need some pics as inspiration for the book cover and to develope the hero a little more. I want to use an actual male barrel racer or male barrel horse trainer for the authenticity. Don't want anything risque, just real life pics. I know ya'll can point me in the right direction!

Oh lord. If it's a romance, not sure hubby would be a realistic hero for that one.

lol. Bless his heart. He tries. But he is a man.

I have a few more I can post once I can get to the scanner & get them uploaded.

You're only as old as you feel!! My hero is late 30's, kind of 38-ish. Some pups would consider that old but at this point it's younger than me so, no it's not old!

These are good Hot -- Exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you!!!

Here's a picture of a friend of mine riding my daughters horse.  He sits so squarely on him & no they didn't hit the barrel.
Let me know if you need more & I'll see what I can find.  He rode him several times this year.

Funniest part of the hird pic is, although very hot and chargey, that mare has the easiest first barrel in the world to ride. Something about her compact frame, my long arms and penchant for long reins, plus her unconventional style lead to pics like that. To watch her runs, you never really see me pull. lol

Oh what the heck.  Dinner's in the oven and the game isn't real exciting, so since this is asking for men running barrels, I'll throw in a few more.  Besides I like bragging about these two horses!  My favorite is the one with Bear, showing me how he can run with a very loud packed crowd in a rodeo atmosphere (Bulls n Barrels).  We took 2nd and I was just along for the ride, trying to keep up with him and stay out of his way.  I'll never ever forget this.

Well, last night I sent off the last edits for my first book coming out so I figured it was time to nail down a cover for this new book and get moving on it.

I made a decision on who to use for the inspiration for the book cover and for the character.................... WINDY

It was an extremely hard decision to make but I feel like he's a great fit as inspiration for the book cover & the character that I'm wanting to convey.

I have to say this was a great experience because with all that pics ya'll posted and sent, I've gotten a lot more character and book ideas. So I'm sure some of ya'll will be inspiration for future books. You can bet on it! I started a Pinterest board to get ideas for this book but I'm going to keep adding to gather ideas just for future works as well... this was just too good!
